Most people who land here are trying to get a job, or get into work they actually want to be doing. Usually they're not short on effort. They just haven't had anyone explain the thing clearly, from the other side of it. If you teach one of these well you can genuinely change what someone does for a living, and we don't really know a bigger thing to spend your time on.
It's also a good crowd to teach. Nobody wandered in by accident, and they'll put what you show them to use pretty much that week.
